Richard Tudge

Captain

Being a relative late comer to the wonderful game of golf and only having been a member of HGC for some 8 years, I am particularly honoured to represent the golf club as Captain. I was an average footballer and squash player when younger and am now a very average golfer but doubt that anyone enjoys their time out on the course more than I do.
If I can be any assistance to help make your golf or social experience more enjoyable at Hinckley, please contact me.

Judith Cooke

Lady Captain

I began to play golf and joined Hinckley Golf Club for in 2002. Before that my time was taken up with looking after and riding my horses. I found it difficult to understand what people, including my husband John, found so challenging about hitting a small ball, for hours on end. However that all changed when we were on holiday in Ireland, and I accompanied John on some of their beautiful golf courses. I decided despite my previous anti, that I would like to try this after all, and in a very short time became totally won over to this frustrating and challenging game of golf, and hence found myself at Hinckley golf club, and soon becoming involved. I have served on the ladies committee as, press secretary, competition secretary, and treasurer.
I have enjoyed contributing to the running of the ladies section. Throughout my life in the different interest’s I have had, I have tried to support and to put something back. I strongly believe that you only get the best out of interests and activities, when you do that.
This year is a challenge and I am looking forward to serving the ladies section, as captain during the next twelve months.
